Commercial leadership

Charles Underwood

Co-Founder & CEO

Charles leads Audit Shield AI's commercial strategy and industry relationships, keeping product development anchored to the real operating challenges faced by cannabis businesses.

His work sits close to the operator: sitting in dispensaries, warehouses and back offices to understand how teams actually receive, move, sell and reconcile regulated product—then translating that reality into a clearer path to compliance. Charles builds the trust that lets Audit Shield AI operate inside a highly regulated market, and turns early customer insight into focused, defensible product decisions rather than guesswork.

Ken Clark

Co-Founder | Technology & Operations

Ken leads Audit Shield AI's product architecture, AI systems and operational automation.

His career has moved through military leadership, industrial automation, controls engineering, manufacturing operations, executive leadership and applied AI—industries changed, but the mission stayed the same: understand the system, find the constraint, eliminate unnecessary complexity, and build a better way. That systems-thinking discipline shapes Audit Shield AI: complex regulatory workflows become controlled systems where the correct operational action is the easiest one, and every discrepancy is caught before it becomes a state audit.
